计算机科学技术研究所现有教师10人，其中教授、博士生导师1人、副教授、硕士生导师9人。其下设四个研究室，具体构成如下：
（1）听觉智能研究室，主任：韩纪庆，成员：郑铁然、郑贵滨
（2）机器学习研究室，主任：刘 扬，成员：刘晓燕、刘国军、王春宇
（3）图像处理研究室，主任：张英涛，成员：翟德明
（4）智能控制系统研究室，主任：季春光
目前研究所的主要研究方向包括：机器听觉智能理论与技术、机器学习理论与应用、图像信息处理技术、智能控制系统与应用等。已完成多项国家973计划课题、国家863计划项目、国家自然科学基金重点项目与面上项目，以及省部级科研项目，获省部级奖项3项。近年来发表论文300余篇。
标志性成果：
（1）噪声及发音变异对语音产生的影响分析和robust语音识别研究，黑龙江省（自然类）二等奖，2006.08。
（2）音频信息分析、检索与安全技术研究，黑龙江省（自然类）二等奖，2008.07；
（3）大流量网络信息内容监管技术，黑龙江省（进步类）二等奖，2009.08；

institute of computer science and technology consists of four research laboratories: hearing intelligence laboratory, machine learning laboratory, image processing laboratory, intelligent control and system laboratory, among whom, 1 is professor and doctoral supervisor, and 9 are associate professors and master supervisors. the main research directions include: theory and technique of machine hearing intelligence, theory and application of machine learning, image processing technique, system and application of intelligent control. the institute has completed a number of basic research program of china (973 program), national high-tech r&d programs of china (863 program), programs supported by the national natural science foundation of china and the provincial and ministerial level scientific research projects, which won 3 provincial awards. more than 300 papers have been published in recent years.

(1) research on the distortion analysis of speech effected by noise and stress and robust speech recognition, the second-class award of heilongjiang province, china, 2006.08
(2) research on audio information analysis, retrieval and security techniques, the second-class award of heilongjiang province, china, 2008.07
